This suite draws inspiration from the paintings of the brilliant Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko, whose museum was tragically destroyed at the beginning of the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

On March 24, 2024, we premiered this piece in Germany at a charity concert for Ukraine held in the Staatschauspiel Dresden Kleines Haus. We are deeply grateful to Anders Grosse, the organizer of the concert, who generously rented the entire venue for us, allowing us to gather more donations for the organization "Save Ukraine," which is dedicated to bringing deported Ukrainian children back home: https://www.saveukraineua.org/donate/‍ ‍
